1/350 scale Project: Endurance

Wow, that's interesting! I really like the double neck and interesting shape of the secondary hull, especially. Have you ever thought about calling it the Endurant?
Thanks. Endurance is named for Ernest Shackleton’s vessel. There is a theme I am continuing here following the 1/24 scale build of her Javelin shuttlecraft design - craft 02 is named “Shackleton”.

Given the astounding quality of the previous work you’ve put out, someone might mistake one this size for an unused filming model, lost to history. Looking at her in-universe, one word seems appropriate. She’s ambitious in size, ambitious in mission profile, ambitious in design... If the Connies were adapted to the Five Year Missions, Endurance seems to be what they would build specifically for the role with lessons learned. Easy enough to see her establishing the dedicated Explorer family line through into Ambassador and Galaxy.
