1:1 Enterprise in Minecraft

Hi all!

Maybe you know the game Minecraft, it is a cool game designed by one swedish guy (he has made approx. 5 million dollars with it by now), where you can basically do whatever you want.

The coolest thing about this game is that you can transofrm the whole world, block by block, and built whatever you want. So this guy chose to build the enterprise. 1:1 scale.

This must have taken WEEKS of non stop playing.

So, enough talk, here is a video of him showing his work:

Pretty impressive, hu? ;)

Wow... Wow... I mean I know it's virtual, but it felt like it would be a lot of work just watching him "walk" with the block. And it DID make it look huge in the perspective.

I'd call this ultimate virtual lego. And this guy is awesome!

But man, how tedious! I don't know if I could do that.

"ahem"? Do you have something to say? Are you trying to draw our attention to something not quite unlike what the OP posted? Perhaps I will click on your little link to showthread.

Afterall, I've never been there.

Coy and subtle is Sojourner's way...

;)

:guffaw:

Perhaps too much sugar combined with nothing to do at work is a bad thing...

I shall only speak in emoticoneese for now on. :techman:

Regardless, the video really brings it home just how big these things would be in real life. Very freaky as he walks under the saucer, looking up at the huge construction in progress. Awesome.

someone should make a real life lego one. not me though, i'm far too busy. but someone with waaaaaay too much time on their hands like, say, stephen baldwin. yeah he should.

He'd ruin it. Ya know. With talking... About god and stuff.
