Today I added Quantum of Solace, the 22 Bond film to my collection, making it complete, and up to date. I got the Blu Ray version. Which one did everyone else get?

I thought the sequel did a great job wrapping up the events in Casino Royale, and gave us a tease for things to come near the end. When all was said and done in Quantum, I feel Bond really emerged as the character we all know, and it will show in the next movie.

The Blu Ray looks extremely awesome. I wish that the theaters could get an experience that is equal, or surpasses home theater. The only one that comes close is IMAX.

I got the Blu-Ray as well. In a special set which also had Licence To Kill and The Man With The Golden Gun.

Did anyone else have an error with their disk? I bought the blu-ray version but had a standard DVD in the case.

Does that happen often? It could be that someone messed up at the FOX Home entertainment factory. (Yes, FOX distributes these films.)

I'm probably going to wait until this drops down to ten dollars or so. I really felt the film was not very good, but I'm a completionist when it comes to Bond, so I'll have to get it eventually.

I'm waiting for Family Video's website to put up used copies so I can pick it up along with a number of other DVDs from this fall and winter that I didn't want to pick up at full price.

The Blu-Ray price is currently a joke, so no I didn't get it. £18 is too much when I bought two disc versions of The Dark Knight and Iron Man, films I wanted a lot more than this, for £15 each.

Yup got my £7 DVD from Tesco on Monday lunchtime and watched it when I got home. Still think its flawed in places, but I still really like it and if nothing else the length and pacing is a heck of a lot better than CR.

Picked up the 2-disc DVD on Monday. (£9 from Morrisons - Tesco's is a £3 bus ride from me...)

Loved it at the cinema last year, loved it even more when I watched it yesterday

I didn't get a chance to pick it up yesterday, but with my work schedule I won't have time to watch it until Friday. I'll get it sometime between now and then.

I'll grab the Blu-ray this weekend. I own the other 21 films, but QoS will be the first in that format.

Yeah I thought that as well. However, I've been doing online surveys for a while now and with the amazon voucher I get I picked it up for £7. Can't be bad.

I grabbed the "Casino Royale" 2-disc blu-ray along with "Quantum of Solace", and discovered that "Royale" was on sale for $19.99. But I'm going to wait until the weekend and watch them back to back.

My parent's commented on the song that was "Another way to Die" saying that in the past the songs were good and memorable. Now they're not.

Maybe it was my audio system or something but I could not understand half of what is said especially Mathis's death speech and Camille's whimpering as the flames close in on her and Bond.

The CGI parachute jump was okay but I could still tell it was CGI. I thought the short running time would hamper the movie but it was okay.

I haven't even seen the movie yet. I most likely will because the Bond in Casino Royale was the first Bond that seemed real to me.
