Anybody notice how much Capaldi looked like Pertwee right after he awakes from being "fried" by "the Veil". The way light fell starkly across his face made it look "fuller" and a bit wider. No doubt the "burn" makeup that partially obscured some details helped. Regardless, I found myself performing a "take" as my mind registered "Jon?!"

I thought he looked like Khan pre-Genesis Device explosion myself.

He did sound like Tom Baker though.

Yes, the burn makeup was quite similar. I wondered if somebody would make that comparison.
