The worst thing about "Sub Rosa" is how it makes Data and Geordi dumb. Fog on the bridge of the Enterprise and Data and Geordi come off like the Keystone Cops.
The ghost entity seems like it could have been handled in a more interesting way. Might have made nice world exploring because similar...
That phrase needs to catch on around here as shorthand for cooling off when someone gets a little too heated in or out of The Neutral Zone.
Been a few times when I should have "eaten biscuit."
I love the plain stupid assumptions made that shouldn't be.
Specifically by Picard in "The Naked Now" when he tells Crusher she can relax about the illness they are dealing with because medical records (including a cure) from the original Enterprise have been found pertaining to likely the same...

I greatly enjoy the humor in everyone's comments regarding the least of TNG.
For me the worst episodes are the most boring. I can find things to laugh at...
They should consider Karole Selmon the actress that played Yareena in TNG's Code Of Honor. She deserves a chance at a better Star Trek part in some better Star Trek episodes.
Sorry I guess I shouldn't have gone off topic here. I love the DE of TMP. I haven't seen this new restoration yet but I will.
I just got caught up with all this love for TFF and I wanted to understand it.
I'll admit to not seeing this for a very long time. Perhaps I should give it another go. I'll never forget Rolling Stone critic Peter Travers dubbing TFF "Windbags at Warp Speed." But assuming people are serious about preferring TFF to other 80's Trek films what is behind that?
Does the humor...
That is an impressive amount of information and pictures that you contributed about Logan's Run and even SciFi convention going back in the day. Thanks I appreciate your interest and time devoted to the subject.
I picked it up the Logan's Run tv show on dvd a few years back. I was only six in 1977 and missed the original run. Trying to adapt a film, especially sci-fi/fantasy, to a 70's tv budget was never going to be easy. It works for me and I like watching the cast and guest stars work.
I would say...
No playoffs for my Pistons but they won the draft lottery.
Lots of pressure to take Cade Cunningham but behind the scenes I think the Pistons GM likes Evan Mobley best.
Not a problem in Detroit with GM Troy Weaver and Coach Dwayne Casey (one of the classiest gentlemen in the NBA). Despite the 2nd worst record this year the Pistons young team played hard. They sat veterans near the end both to develop the kids and maximize draft position (aka tanking aka fade...
Thanks everyone I was entertained and got laughs out of comments such as these.
This is how I feel about A Quality of Life and the plight of Exocomps.
l like the episode largely for the underrated Wendy Hughes but I can see where one would find this boring.
It should be on...
Good questions. What I always wondered about was the freezing plan. If Kirk and Spock hadn't foiled it how was it supposed to work?
How long before a search mission for the Enterprise would have gotten there? How long could the Enterprise have stayed in orbit with no crew operating it? I...
Thank you for for slamming this moral misfire of an episode at your earliest opportunity. Happy to find another board member that also holds it in contempt.
I get that the idea was to do yet another morality isn't always black and white sometimes it's gray episode. Unfortunately this sequel...
Yeah I agree with you here. I like the ending as well since we can speculate about it. There is dark, different and thought provoking stuff here as well as Deela saying things like "Come Captain it's time to leave your pretty ship" or Spock "I found it an accelerating experience."
I've always...
That's interesting about the dimensional shift. Also I've always wondered if the Scalosian condition was not the result of a natural disaster but the result of their own technology experiments harming them.
Deela was not necessarily telling the truth about what changed her and her people. Then...
