    Federation 'Scout' - USS DiBarticot

I like everything about it except for the fact it's a Federation ship. It might be better suited for an alien race. Perhaps one we've heard of, but who's vessels we've never seen like...the Rigellians or something.

DS9 Without Prophets and Pah Wraiths

The thing I loved about the Prophets story is that it was ALWAYS there. DS9 never abandoned its initial concept, which was always Sisko and his life/destiny. Even during the war, the writers never let the audience forget that the Dominion War etc....was secondary to Sisko/Bajor/Prophets.

The Joker - What would you do now?

The advantage they have if they want to use the Joker in a brief scene, is that Heath was buried under so much make-up, that you couldn't tell it was him anyway. So another actor can fill the role for a short scene.

    Crossfire

Great episode, because Odo's situation was entirely relatable. I'm sure many men have been in a situation where the woman they want is with some other dude, but they can't tell her out of fear of rejection or ruining a friendship. Plus, they added a complexity to it by Shakaar a decent guy.

The Joker - What would you do now?

Have one scene where a shadowy Joker played by a new actor briefly tells Batman that he was only the first of many freaks to be attracted to Gotham City merely by the challenge that Batman represents. Batman leaves him laughing in his cell and departs to face the Riddler. And that's it.

    it's sexist!

The sexism paled in comparison to the stereotypical portrayal of Finnegan. Hey, he's Oirish and he loves to fight all day long.....and he likes to sit on trees with his arms folded with a big grin on his face........where's me lucky charms?

    Picard's atheism?

That tends to happen in TNG when Picard delivers his tiresome moral speeches, that Nick Locarno mentioned.
  11. HRHTheKING

Did Voyager make the Borg unscary?

Paramount shoot themselves in the foot. They suggested the creation of the Borg Queen so TNG's characters would have "someone to relate to and engage with" in FC, forgetting that the whole effectiveness of the Borg was based on the fact that they weren't individuals and you couldn't relate to...

    Could TATV have been good?

TATV was like ENT in general. A directionless mess.

Constitution class vessels in the 24th century...?

Mirandas, Oberths, Excelsiors and Constellations are still seen in the 24th century, so it makes sense to me that Constitutions would too.

    Picard's atheism?

Personally I think Picard's objection was based on not wanting to allow the Mintakans to worship HIM as a god, not gods in general.

    Could TATV have been good?

It's been nearly four years and I still don't understand what the hell Riker's situation regarding Admiral Pressman and the Pegasus had to do with ANYTHING on NX-01 And Berman and Braga were under the delusion this was a "valentines" to Trek fans? If you needed proof these guys were...

I own TNG and DS9 on DVD. Which series should I buy next?

Get TOS and TAS I don't think ENT and VOY are worth buying.
