    Piecing together DSC's time-frame choices

I didn't know that but think he would probably have stuck closer to TOS visuals. I know that Gersha Phillips did not work with Fuller at all and basically started over again. https://www.dailydot.com/parsec/star-trek-discovery-costume-designer-interview/...

    Piecing together DSC's time-frame choices

Bryan Fuller's ideal version of the look of Discovery wouldn't necessarily have been what we saw on screen. At some point he was hyping up uniform colors that didn't end up being used. https://twitter.com/BryanFuller/status/771872524619489280?s=20 I think he dreamed too big and had too much...

re: Jack Crusher's age/casting For all we know he fell into a Molly time hole, or some spacial phenomenon that aged him up.

Are Blu del Barrio and Ian Alexander series regulars in season 4?

Sometimes they get regular status to be immediately written off. but the intent here is they are sticking around.

Jason Isaacs Reveals his condition for returning to Star Trek

Now I'm wondering if Isaacs refused a Lorca cameo in S3

    Lt. Keyla Detmer appreciation thread

They really should give her new implants. The ones she has are almost 1000 years out of date.

It's just stock footage. They used the same one at the end of 3x03.

Spoilers Season 3 Episode 9 'Terra Firma pt 1' promo

There's a shot from the snow planet with what looks like rings. The GoF planet did not have rings.

Romulan warbirds forced quantum singularity as alternative to Starfleet warp drive (dilithium)

This is not canon... but as canon doesn't really specify the mechanics of how various propulsion systems work... The Star Trek Magazine had an article describing how the Forced Singularity Drive worked. You can view the internet archive here. It still apparently used deuterium and dilithium.

Romulan warbirds forced quantum singularity as alternative to Starfleet warp drive (dilithium)

Minor Radiation + Cloaked Romulan Warbird caused O'Brien to timeshift. It's possible that the technology was found to be potentially too harmful due to interactions with other technologies.

Spoilers Robert Meyer Burnett: "Terra Firma" will ruin Trek canon

Do you still reject that Discovery/Picard are Prime Timeline?

Spoilers Robert Meyer Burnett: "Terra Firma" will ruin Trek canon

Honestly, it makes perfect sense for them to ask the Guardian of Forever what the heck happened during the Burn. Just to gather data at the precise time of where they think it happened. And what does the Temporal Ban mean for the Guardian?

Spoilers Robert Meyer Burnett: "Terra Firma" will ruin Trek canon

This has me very excited about the episodes. I'm curious what they can possibly do to illicit such a reaction. I always like it when creatives swing for the fences.

Spoilers Star Trek: Discovery 3x06 - "Scavengers"

While it's possible, I doubt they would go to the trouble to re-create the corridors connecting the inner and outer saucer rings. They removed those corridors for the 1031A

Spoilers Star Trek: Discovery 3x06 - "Scavengers"

Calypso doesn't really fit in the timeline anymore, since we don't see those consoles nor those nacelles. So in the flashes, they used a few frames of Lorca plunging into the ISS Charon core. Probably means nothing. What's the likely situation with the flashbacks? Georgiou killed someone that...

Spoilers Star Trek: Discovery 3x06 - "Scavengers"

That was a beautiful show. I could use more angles of the refit discovery. Not too sure about the look for the nacelles being disconnected.

Spoilers Star Trek: Discovery 3x05 - "Die Trying"

    1) Burnham should have learned that covering for people's PTSD is not a good idea. Detmer absolutely should be taking a break/vacation at the HQ. 2) Nhan's actor was promoted to regular this season and now she's gone. It's nice to see some insight into their species. I don't think we knew...

Spoilers Star Trek: Discovery 3x04 - "Forget Me Not"

We don't really know about Trill symbiont life cycle. It could be that the Tal symbiont took multiple decades off between hosts to stay and reproduce in the pools.

Spoilers Star Trek: Discovery 3x04 - "Forget Me Not"

"The Burn decimated our population, particularly those capable of joining. We no longer have enough viable hosts." They established in Equilibrium that "virtually half" of the Trill population was capable of joining. The casualties from the Burn must be much more significant than previously...
