That would be me. I also made one with the Constitution scaled down to 400 meters, which I actually prefer since it keeps it from being wider than the Excelsior without making the Excelsior as long as the Galaxy.
I believe they were only planned to launch online in July, with a fall launch in stores. That said, they aren't in stock at Entertainment Earth yet (where I preordered them), so the schedule may have changed.
As far his acting goes I think he's plenty convincing, but if he becomes a regular, maybe even the lead in his own Kirk series, I hope he bulks up a little. Not a superhero body necessarily, just bigger. I think his weight is a big part of why some people have a hard time seeing Kirk in Paul...
I don't love the changes to the Monster Maroon, but since it's from an alternate timeline, it's not really an issue. I think the flap angle was changed so that it would be parallel to the seam of the shoulder panel.
Oh, and I loved the episode.
Young Alec Guinness didn't look that much like Ewan McGregor.
Ewan works for the role because he embodies Obi-Wan so well. When recasting a well established character, I imagine they're looking for an actor that suits the character in every aspect, and appearance is just one. Things like body...
I like that, but I'd suggest using concept art from the episode, like the Disney+ Star Wars shows do, and follow Vina with a reanimated Desilu logo. But that almost certainly will not happen.
It's a big galaxy and a big (happy) fleet. 20-30 Constitutions would still be rare and special in a fleet of a thousand ships. But there's no evidence that there's that many Constitutions, at least for now.
I think the simplest solution would be to say that the line referred to the specific subclass to which the Enterprise belongs. There may be many other Constitution subclasses with subtle or not so subtle differences, but only 12 ships just like the Enterprise.
I hope they announce a Drednok toy soon. He looks like he was designed to sell toys, but his figure would be a bit more complex than the usual humanoids.
