I came across these titles today for $1.99 on Amazon.
The Final Nexus (Star Trek: The Original Series Book 43)
Gene DeWeese
The Peacekeepers: A Novel (Star Trek: The Next Generation Book 2)
Gene DeWeese
Requiem (Star Trek: The Next Generation Book 32)
Michael Jan Friedman, Kevin Ryan
That's excellent work, David! Maybe Simon and Schuster should be contacted about those? There are so many Star Trek books printed that those just might have fallen through the cracks. I would try emailing them your list and sending a letter to the current editor over Star Trek books.
When ebooks came out I never thought I would completely transition to them but I have. I used to only buy ebook exclusive Star Trek titles but aging eyes have forced me to move toward ebooks. I found that I actually enjoy using my Kindle devices, and if I am out and about, and have a few minutes...
I have to agree with Stevil2001 that this book reads like a "young adult" novel for teens. Granted the story is about a teenager and so I am OK with that being the case. Personally, I rated the novel as above average. I would like to have given an outstanding but it fell a little short for me...
I'm hoping that when things do get back up and running that maybe some fresh blood and a new direction would help re-invigorate the Trek line and get new readers onboard. It's time for something fresh and exciting.
Another good place to look for used Star Trek books is Thriftbooks.com . I have found that most paperback titles run less than $4.00 and you can get free shipping if you buy three books or more. They also have a reward program that can save you even more money.
Yes really. I am a very visual learner and my mind remembers pages. I can't explain it. I doubt I would ever find anything in my Bible if it wasn't for my visual memory. I have tried using an ebook Bible and the experience is not the same. My reference books are all marked up and I can flip a...
One of the main reasons I even read Star Trek novels is because of familiarity with the characters and so I cannot help but hear and see the actors who played them in my mind. If I had never seen a single Star Trek episode though I think I would still enjoy reading them it just would be an...
If a Star Trek book is available in paper I buy paper but if ebook only I will buy it in Nook format. I own both a Kindle and Nook and do like ebooks for many things. I will not buy reference or textbook type of books in any format other than paper. Ebooks are too cumbersome trying to find the...
Nice! I'd post a pic of my collection but unfortunately about half of them are in boxes on the older titles because I just don't have enough room. I think I counted around 600 last I checked and maybe another 300 magazine.

I've been quite disappointed in the TOS line in the last few years with a few exceptions. I love James Swallow and thus I am hoping for an exception here.

I know I said I wouldn't buy this at $40.00 and would wait for the bargain bin, but I gave in because I trust Therin's judgement and it came today from Amazon and I have to say it is a really beautiful book. If more of the Trek non-fiction books were done this well I would buy anything...
I have to say that for me personally the books I enjoy most are the post series books that move the stories forward. My biggest disappointments have come with the TOS line of books for the last several years. It's not that there have not been some gems (From History's Shadow & No Time Like The...
