New trailer for the doc from IGN. Looks pretty good, the HD shots look amazing!
To hell with the both of ‘em. Have to say I didn’t really care for the way they came across in interviews so it’s not surprising that they would be shitbags to their coworkers.
Hopefully this’ll mean GOOD things for the second season. :fingers crossed:
What a helpful comment this is.
(For the record, I really enjoy B5 as well, just finished a rewatch of the whole thing last year, but it is not the be all, end all of great TV storytelling that some people make it out to be.)
Ranking the episodes:
1. Choose Your Pain
2. Context is for Kings
3. Battle at the Binary Stars
4. The Butcher’s Knife...
5. The Vulcan Hello
Still a bit early to rank DSC amongst past Trek, but I’ll give it a go.
1. DS9
2. TOS
3. DSC
4. TNG
5. VOY
6. ENT
Lorca is my favorite so far, easily.
Second would have to be Stamets, who I wasn’t sold on at first but has grown on me quickly.
Third would be Culber/Saru. After that...
This could’ve been something fun to watch after the new episodes, but the host really killed it for me. Left it on as background noise after a bit. The BTS stuff was kinda neat at least.
I watched it through the CBSAA app on the PS4, and while the picture quality was fine (except for a few instances of less-than-HD buffering), the sound was not that great. I had to turn my receiver WAY up in order to hear things (especially dialog) clearly. Also, the app completely stopped...
If this is indeed the final form of Discovery, gotta say that I like it, cutouts and all! :techman:
Looking forward to news coming out of SDCC this weekend.
