Sorry, wrong thread... ;)
The five is mine at the moment, I just edited and put it in the middle at the moment.. ;)
*off the vote in the episode 8 thread instead*
(my excuse is that this thread are really, really early).
Well, I need one last friend for "A Ripple in Time", so I gave it a shot despite the thread being a bit old.. :p
I'm good at giving gifts, too.. ;) PerAkerman is my name, and yellow is my game
*instinct for life*
Yeah, both Big Finish and for exemple Graphic Audio is really good bitrate-wise. But, as I said, i'm not really picky when it's only voices. Both BF and GA do have music and soundeffects, so quality are more important there.
I am a member of both Downpour and Audible, and I'm not really picky about the sound quality on audio books (both sounds good to me).
I do have Legacies book 2 and 3 on Downpour, and checking the bitrate of those files (the m4b-versions, which is what I use) gives a bitrate of 60k VBR with a...
Yeah, the Sanderson-books are long and it's expensive, but on the other hand there is a lot of work going into these books (with all the actors, music and so on) and I feel that I can afford it. If anyone wants to listen to them but have a tight budget, the "normal" (narrated) version is quite...
And I see that they will continue the series after the trilogy with "The Bull and the Spear"... :) Hopefully they continue with Elric/Hawkmoon and so on in the future. Just for a laugh I would like to see them tackle the Cornelius-books, though.... :p That may be the only way for me to...
Just noticed this myself when browsing Audible. Finally some new Star Trek audios!
I just hope that there will be more in the future. If Doctor Who and Star Wars can pump out audio-titles, Star Trek should also be able to do this.
Yeah, I really want Star Trek audiobooks, and it's a shame that there isn't any. I got my hope up when "Sarek" was released unabridged a few years ago, but that was an old recording that was republished.
Doctor Who is a franchise that does audio right (even if there's only Big Finish at the...
Anyone that really want an "end" to the foundation saga, there's always this:
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5810546/1/Foundations-Resolve
Fan-fic of course, but they say it's a very good one (haven't read it yet, currently making my way through everything Robot/Empire/Foundation related in...
Listened to it yesterday. Great podcast!
The Marvel books and Only Superhuman are in my "will buy soon"-pile.
With this and the forthcoming Sanderson "Mistborn"-adaption, there is a lot I need to get from GA (still don't have all the DC titles yet due to the fact that I've been going through...
My first two books (after seeing two episodes of Star Trek: TOS and a few episodes of Str Trek: TNG) was Spock's World (Duane) and Final Frontier (Carey).
Neither of them was especially good for a beginner, I feel. I was a bit confused by what was happening in them for a while.. .P
