Jumping in late to the game. The Kelvin Universe Enterprise was a design that quickly became my favorite, I loved it and still do...until the Discovery Enterprise became my new favorite.

I'm really loving Discovery but TOS will forever be my favorite. You never forget your first love. But I do put it up equal with the rest of my favorites, TNG and VOY.

I really enjoyed all three movies. I hope they continue with this cast. I think they did a real good job and I accepted them in their roles. Into Darkness is one I do enjoy even though Khan felt forced into the movie, wasn't necessary, and despite Benedict Cumberbach (or whatever his name is)...

I love the production values, the ship designs (interior & exterior), the Klingons and the drama and tension between the crew. That makes for good story telling character development. I'm really loving this show!!!

Not for me. While I do enjoy The Orville for what it is, I'm immensely enjoying Star Trek Discovery so much more.

There is also nothing stopping an Alternate Timeline from having a very similar and shared history with the Prime Timeline.

You seem to be confirming what I said. What's the difference between "doesn't have to look like the 60s" and "But if it could look similar to the Star Trek's depiction of the 2250s." That sounds vague and almost contradictory. What would that even look like? We're is the line?
