It's $150. Not a bad price for a 15 inch model that FULLY lights up (including windows). To my knowledge, this is the first time we've had a Kelvin Enterprise replica like this (that is already put together and fiber optic)...
It wasn't just any series finale. It was an event!
It was such a huge event that I remember a number of sports arenas across the US showing it on their jumbotrons with packed crowds! I cannot recall any other TV shows' series finale being that huge.
I also remember local news stations doing...
I've had the game for years on PC but always played it with just a mouse & keyboard since the makers of the game came out with a patch for non-VR players to play it. I always liked it despite M&K controls being somewhat cumbersome to use.
I got a Meta Quest 3 VR headset recently and finally...
For its time (1994), "Star Trek: The Next Generation Interactive Technical Manual" was amazing. It was basically an interactive tour of the Enterprise-D. I mean, you couldn't actually walk around the ship in real time since the technology at the time didn't allow that. All you could do was just...
There's just something about this show that just never gets old to me, no matter what episode (yes, even the shitty ones). I can watch any episode over and over and I still feel the same emotions I always did the first time I watched said episode. I can't tell you how many times I've seen all...
What is it about this bad guy that makes him so damn memorable? There have been a lot of despicable villains in Star Trek but THIS GUY is IMO the most hateable.
Is it because of the actor's really performance? Or does it have to due more with Data, a being who has been programmed to never harm...
For a humanity that has evolved past greed and selfishness after first contact with the Vulcans in the years after World War III, there sure seems to be a lot of corruption with Starfleet. The "corrupt admiral" is a trope in Star Trek.
There seems to be a number of corrupt regular members of...
Why do people keep saying this? I think it would've been a pretty mediocre TNG episode. My reasons are:
1) The Son'a weren't very compelling villains. In fact, they were pretty boring villains.
2) The story itself wasn't interesting. I mean, it wasn't even an actual insurrection. It was just...
Even though they used the self-destruct, after the self-destruct went off it didn't completely vaporize the ship.
As you can see in the image above, the stardrive section was still completely intact and only half of the saucer section was gone.
In season 3 of Star Trek: Picard, Geordi was...
For such a gigantic ship, a lot of the rooms in it sure seemed very cramped.
Compare it to a much smaller ship like Voyager and you can see that a lot of the rooms on Voyager seemed much larger (like the bridge and the captain's ready room for example).
Why is this (if we're using an...
Like some kind of a Borg cult who worship them as gods? Perhaps this species were ignored by the Borg for being too primitive and have now made it their life's mission to become worthy enough for assimilation. Perhaps they see being assimilated as a way to becoming gods, not knowing the true...
I know that with TNG, they had to manually remaster every episode into HD and it was a huge pain in the ass to do. Because of that, they didn't wanna go through all of that again for DS9 and VOY and honestly, who could blame them?
However, this was before AI for upscaling SD into HD ever was...
The top one on my list is V'Ger. I want to see just what it is now exactly after having evolved at the end of TMP. Another reason why I want this is because it bothers me that ever since TMP came out, Trek shows have completely ignored anything TMP and I feel that this is undeserved because time...
The plot of the movie is a dark one, what with it being about a conspiracy designed to stop peace between two major powers of the galaxy and even having a dark theatrical score.
But yet, despite all that, there are so many quips and humorous parts that it seems (to me at least) just as...
Putting the quality of Generations aside, am I alone in saying that out of all the TNG movies Generations is the only one that has movie-like cinematography? The lighting, the camera angles and shots.....everything about it makes it feel distinctly different from a regular TNG episode. The movie...
We've seen some cats in Star Trek. There's Data's cat Spot of course, and there's also Cleveland Booker's cat Grudge in Discovery. As cute as those cats were, we have yet to see a calico cat in Star Trek!
Isn't it about time some Star Trek character has a pet calico cat?!
I really liked the TNG one the best:
I think it was the classiest one. My least favorite one is the VOY one (first introduced in Star Trek: Generations):
That rectangular shape behind the delta symbol just looks so uninspired and dull to me. I never really liked it.
Honorable mention for...
This was too good to not tell you all.
For $24.99 you get ALL of the TNG episodes of every season. Not $24.99 for just one season.......$24.99 for ALL seven seasons.
This is just digital only, but it's still a helluva great deal!
Here's the link...
He was ordered to not get involved in the Borg's second attempted invasion of Earth but he got involved anyway and thanks to him and the Enterprise, the Borg were defeated yet again. Without the Enterprise there the Borg definitely would've won that space battle and would've started assimilating...
And by that I mean the way Berman & Braga produced Trek during TNG's run, and also the way Ira Steven Behr & Ronald D. Moore produced DS9 (I chose only those two shows because this was the heyday of the Trek resurgence in the 90's which started to decline when VOY started). In other words, that...
