When Nomad erased Uhura's mind did it wipe out every memory she ever had? If so, is the Uhura we see from this point onwards even the same person? How did she continue to function as an adult and as a Starfleet officer? Why did it have to be a female crew member who got picked on? Bastard...
Assuming both are alive at the time of Star Trek III I'd love to see their reactions to the destruction of "their" ship.
We can just assume Pike blinked once for "Oh well" and twice for "That god damned space jockey blew up my ship!"
April might have died of old age already but as he claimed...
The symbiont is already 300 years old by the time of DS9. Just how much longer can it continue on? Obviously the death of Dax would mean the current host would also die since they become one after a short period of time.
It's implied in All Good Things that Geordi eventually marries Dr. Leah Brahms. Given how creepy and awkward Geordi was around women I think it's possible he married the holographic Leah and not the real one. The kids are probably holograms too.
Just a thought.
Rather than Discovery why didn't CBS just make a series set during Pike's tenure as captain of the Enterprise? Now that we've seen the Enterprise it seems even more stupid that they didn't.
I like Discovery but Pike's adventures is an area of Star Trek that exists but has barely been explored...
I've recently completed a rewatch of the series. Or a full watch as I didn't watch every episode during its run. My opinion of the series has only changed slightly. I already knew the first 2 seasons sucked and it got better from Season 3 but I must admit I grew genuinely fond of some of the...
I recently watched TUC and although I still love the movie I've changed my opinion about Chang. I used to think he was a good villain but rewatching the movie I found him annoying, over the top and hammy. Easily the worst part of the entire film. How opinions change as you get older...
I always enjoyed seeing the titles of episodes featuring Q.
Some missed opportunities
"FuckQ" - the sequel to DS9's "Q-Less" featuring another epic Sisko takedown of Q
"Qube" - the Borg attack the Q Continuum
"Q-Cumber" - the Q Continuum once again punish Q by turning him into a vegetable...
Anyone like this character? She was on the Enterprise for the entire 7 years of TNG (according to a deleted scene from All Good Things). Aside from the main cast no other featured crewmember was on board for the entire duration of the series. She was mentioned quite a few times but only appeared...
I've always wondered this. Fair enough most of the episode takes place off the station and centres on Sisko and O'Brien but there is a bit of it set on DS9 that features Dax and Kira. Usually the writers would include the other regulars in a token scene but there's no sign of Odo and Bashir...
DS9 had a huge cast of characters but some did not have the chance to meet.
I'd have loved it if Kai Winn or Gul Dukat met The Intendant. Weyoun and Brunt would have been something to see. And of course we never got to see Ezri's Jhian'Tara and her interaction with Jadzia.
He was taken apart and had his emotion chip removed in Season 7 but would Starfleet or indeed Section 31 really leave it there?
It's hard to imagine a rare Soong-type Android just sitting in a storage locker somewhere collecting dust. Someone (maybe Bruce Maddox) would try to figure out what...
I'm watching this now for the first time in probably 20 years. I knew I hated it so I'd been putting it off during my rewatch. My opinion has not changed. It still stinks.
Boring plot
Terrible guest actor
Annoying central character
The only part I enjoyed is when Spock matter of factly calls...
I read that the reason Ezri Dax was added to the cast was because it was out of the question for Kira to be the only female regular. I have to ask why? It was the last season anyway so who cares? I liked Ezri but I'm sure DS9 would have been fine without her.
I do think it's interesting that...
This is a game I saw elewhere and I thought it might be fun to do here. The rules of the game are that every character begins with 10 points. Each time you vote you may award one point and take away one point. For example I could vote to give Picard a point so he'd be on 11 and take a point away...
I read somewhere there are extended versions of some of the episodes but I haven't been able to phrase the search words correctly to find out more information.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Was anyone else confused by Weyoun's clones? Did they all share the same memories or was it a fresh start every time a new Weyoun stepped off the assembly line? They seemed to refer to previous clones as separate individuals at times but other times it was as if it was supposed to be the same...
