If I recall correctly it was a good joke until the point where a character went, "You know, like CATS!" for those of us who didn't get it.

...I'll say this though. I felt they had done a very good job of capturing what made the original movies so special. They nailed the tone and the jokes. And they've managed to update the series while keeping the essence of the original movies, which to me is a sign that those in charge...
