Which is very human and a valid avenue to explore.
Oh, the whole audience already knew Kirk was a deadbeat dad the moment we met David Marcus.
As I reach my mid-50's, I have no sympathy for Kirk. Not sure I ever did. Like each of us, he's made his choices and now has to live with them.
Tony Stark and Iron Man were barely b-listers when Iron Man came out. Public knowledge of them was secondary to what made the first film such a success, i.e. Downey's performance and Favreau's directing.
There's no reason Sam Wilson and Riri Williams can also be standouts as long as they get...
1. TOS portrays Kirk as (something like) a womanizer and adventurer who should remain unattached.
2. #1 is based on the attitudes and interests of series creator Roddenberry, particularly his ideas about masculinity and sexuality.
3. The writers of Wrath of Khan grasped onto the lack of...
I agree and will add that people don't want to see new actors in those roles, so recasting is not going to resolve anything for Marvel. Chris Evans' Cap is still alive in the MCU as far as we know, and there is precedent for de-aging the character in recent comics.
In the comics there was a...
He just felt, like many do, that there was something arrogant about the Ghormans. They were always too good for the rest of us. Plus they were aggressive and unpleasant, much like their spiders.
He was pretty gung-ho about doing the Legacy sequel and he clearly relished his role in Uprising, but I don't blame him one bit for calling it quits after the show's horrible treatment and premature cancellation (I'll forever be bitter at Disney for their treatment of that show...) and the...
A is for the Antares maelstrom.
B is for Babel.
C is for Christine Chapel.
D is for Delta Vegans.
E is for Elnor.
F is for Irving A. Feinberg, property master for TOS.
Unsurprisingly, that's almost entirely clickbait since Feige's comments don't really reveal anything we didn't already know about the plot of the film. The one interesting tidbit is that Destin has seven different iconic covers on his wall that he's planning to recreate so it'll be fun trying to...
The MCU needs to be reset for it to truly recover. I clearly predicted when Endgame came out that the MCU would reset at some point, sometime in the mid-2030s, but my guess is they'll do it sooner. When you're doing so many projects, a reboot is inevitable.
Sam Wilson and especially Riri WIlliams are not nearly as popular as Steve Rogers and Tony Stalk are but recasting them is also a mistake. Downey Jr and Evans are tow iconic in the roles. He is underestimating how important the actors were in making those characters great.
Do movies about...
So, how do we feel about conspiracy theory that Galen picked the most obscure, esoteric, hard-to-procure material possible to coat the Death Star reactor lenses in order to delay the project?
We will see. Would not surprise if they are hiding some characters from previous films. Even if just cameos. No offense to Sam and Quorra but the real question is where is Tron/ Alan Bradley???
I am fully aware that Bruce Boxleitner said at some point he was done with Tron. The result...
