I would add Worf as well — more than once over the years, I’ve heard some random “Worf joke” in a public place, so he’s obviously got some staying power.
It seems to be a joke about Matt Ramos.
I'm just getting my first real concentrated exposure to the feud-ridden and incestuous GoT cosplay that is online film blogging, but Matt does seem to be an enthusiastic young fellow.
...tongue-in-cheek.
None of the humour was left to the imagination.
The best show of Naked Gun humour in the trailer was the O.J Simpson joke: irreverent, uncomfortable, but absolutely funny because it didn't say the obvious part out loud.
Everything else was "it's funny because Neeson's...
...if the Cerritos itself is only 10 years old so it wouldn't be overly surprising for it to just be retired anyway.
In spite of some wonderful jokes and a hybrid send up of two classic episodes, Fully Dilated I think inches into being weaker than the others.

...origin story.
The sudden tonal shifts with the subplots is also a bit weird. The gang (I don't think they have a real name) come off as a joke in their initial introduction. Robbins and his right-hand man John have real menace to them, but then we have all these goofs like a retired drag...

If PELHAM were a Bond film, they'd need the disclaimer: MR. BLUE and MR. BROWN WILL RETURN IN RESERVOIR...
Everyone going on about watching Mobile Suit Gundam or Zeta to get the references, and hear I am being glad I watched Igloo so I get some of the jokes after this episode.
Plus in the later seasons The Magicians really leaned into musical numbers and I love that ...... Especially when they were on the sentient boat trying to avoid another boat raping their boat, that line isn't a joke it's in the show but they go over a waterfall and do a sing along
I remember both the book and the movie being a big deal, but I didn't pay much attention because it was just a mainstream thing to me. I saw it later on TV in the late 70s or early 80s and it turns out I was pretty impressed, for various reasons.
That does seem unlikely, but it's apparently...
...bother setting something in the future if it's going to barely be in the future? (Cue Picard Season 2 again.)
There's a telling story behind my joke about John Winston's TTT character being Kyle's ancestor. When I asked the Bing AI how many generations of grandfather 300 years would be, it...
