Pre COVID I think Art Asylum's Trip Tucker (regular uniform) was going for $30-40. I wasn't into collecting Trek merch so I passed. Then around COVID or later on he jumped to $80 or more
Seven of 9 was about $30 and can go for $50+. I bit the bullet and decided to get it before it went...
Discovery - the writing/direction isn't for me. The actors/characters are great and the visuals are amazing. It has brought in fans and help setup the path to have more Trek
Voyager - it's a go-to show and has characters I can relate to. They made some weird or weak choices in character...
Boilmer met Sulu from a holodeck session/heat stroke hallucination. It makes sense he would try a tactile approach if a holodeck command doesn't work. That being said, stay away from Pike and horses, just in case...
No, I don't think they're clinging to Trek mythos' shirttails and cynically mining it. I mean they are using past elements but that's bound to happen with a franchise property. But it's not done in a way that makes me uninterested or feel like bad fan fic
I'll let someone who's has more sleep...
That's cool, thanks for sharing!
I think the penal colony was reserved for those found guilty of crimes to what Una committed
My guess is the child and his family would probably be treated like how our racist/corrupt authorities treat marginalized folks
In real life, book/Trek author Una...
I imagine it wasn't hard, the potential issues from GE are scary. From one member gaining more advantages or disruption of the status quo. Andorians, Tellarites, Vulcans can all be difficult to deal with as they are. An enhanced one could be frightening
Even if this episode was near perfect...
Off the top of my head excluding Star Trek
Craig of the Creek
DuckTales
Late Night with Conan O'Brien
Komi Can't Communicate
Scooby-Doo, Where Are you!
Her personality and cadence are daft but in a good way. I was thrown off at first but warmed up to her and can't wait to see what Pelia brings. This coming from a guy who hasn't seen much of her work
Putting aside how someone feels about Chapel/Spock, that was phenomenal dramatic acting IMO...
The 7th Rule interviewed the director Chris Fisher, he stated Anson and his partner had a baby. So this episode was planned in advance to allow him to have family leave
I'd like to see Starfleet utilize helmets again into their uniforms. I'm thinking something white with a red beacon to help them aim or blind the enemy. Call it Starfleet Personnel Overseeing Contingencies and Keys
I can understand why people dislike that trait. But given the type of Captain, Pike is, I think he welcomes anyone with a unique voice and works well together
Ortegas is not afraid to speak her mind and I feel most of her quips are meant to ease into or cope with the serious situations they...
is she a mystery box? We know she's Lanthanite, lived on Earth, connected to Amanda, and has a science teaching background
I feel like if she was mystery box, they wouldn't have revealed those details. She seems like any other character
That's part of the fun with acting, especially voice acting. Performers can inhabit roles that some people wouldn't expect. Mark Hamill as the Joker is one example. Tara Strong and Phil Lamaar have a wide range of character types they've played. Like Bubbles/Powerpuff Girls and Raven/Teen...
This will be my first time going, I'm excited and nervous for it. I even stepped out of my comfort zone to reserve photo-ops with Brent Spiner, Robert Picardo, and Jeri Ryan.
Last year at Mission Chicago, I struggled to interact with anyone initially. I still kick myself for being...
Bones could be a crank or seen as racist towards Spock. But DeForest made him charming and compassionate.
Just based on my vague memories of Pulaski. She just came off as curt and dehumanizing to Data.
