To be fair we don't know how strikes will play out and affect things, we know they already did some work on it.
If strikes end relatively soon it could be more a blip when it comes to the release date of S3. I wouldn't speculate too much on that right now.
(Not saying this should or should not...
Honestly, I think we're going to season four minimum.
The first two seasons were pretty much filmed back to back, and it doesn't seem too unrealistic to assume they planned for the same here.
Didn't Picard S2-S3 do the same? A lot of it is presumably down to scheduling so they can get out a...
To be fair that doesn't take away from the part of him thinking it was a good story. I love the classic Batman and the 1966 film is one of my favourites from that franchise but it's just a very naff script. Not sure if Goldsman would admit that but George Clooney has at least recently stated...
Deep fake's make for a fun few minute video but for anything actually in a film/television show I'd write them out completely. The first thing you'll notice in any of those videos is that a deep fake removes a ton of expression and emotion from an actor's face as well as giving them quite a...
A lot of those characters being played by actors who have since died probably wacks them down most fan wishlists by quite a bit.
Foe example, I love Odo but personally have no desire to see him if he's played by a new actor.
I'm not too bothered by Wesley looking physically quite different to William Shatner, but I did find his performance... underwhelming.
There was nothing there that made me think Captain Kirk outside of characters telling us that the character we're seeing is Captain Kirk. I believe but I'm not...
My guess is the character is there specifically for his the Jim Kirk episode next season. It does open up the question of why introduce him so early if you're doing that but it does feel much more natural to have him there since the start than having him introduced right before Jim appears.
And...
Planet of the week stuff was very very thin. I can see why since they had a lot of runtime to set-up our new cast and things, it's why the Berman Trek shows kicked off with a two-parter so you'd have time to balance both. Since announcement I've been more excited for the second episode than the...
Yes.
I mean in both cases it's ambiguous as to how real the threat even is.
Considering Picard started Tapestry dead and then came out alive having learnt a valuable leason about how it's the individual events in our lives who form who we are I'd say Q did him a pretty big solid.
That is if...
They're problems he "caused", but I'd say especially in episodes like Tapestry and All Good Things it's ambigous as to how much involvement he has.
But the problems were about learning a lesson, Picard came out of both of those mentioned episodes with a different perspective.
Am I missing something? I don't see anybody asking them why or how they did not have time to watch episodic procedurals.
The users point seems to just be that episodic shows still exist even if you don't personally watch them, and their high viewership figures show that there is still an...
You say that but this is the same channel which was very positive about The Matrix Resurrections and was aware enough that their fans disliked it that they poked jokes at that with the thumbnail and talked about how much certain crowds hated it.
RedLetterMedia have their flaws but they really...
There are quite a few pages of discussion dedicated to the thickness of pylons so I'd say that's a welcome topic even if it's repeated.
(By the way I agree, that'd be fun)
Yeah, this episode wasn't for me.
It felt like this first episode was just set-up for what the show is going to be in the future outside of the last 15 minutes. We got every character apart from one now pushed back into Starfleet off-screen, something which was a very big element in the first...
I'm not shocked since it has become standard for a lot of audio dramas to not bother but I find it really scummy and lazy. Hopefully it's something they can resolve for future releases, I don't really notice it when listening but I'd like the option and I know a lot of people find it more...
