Applied that fix and now I have the transporter sound f/x proper.
Also saw the other warp animations. Totally forgot about those.

https://atlas.sansar.com/experiences/roddenberryentertainment/bridge
I wasn't even aware of its existence until today. Just tried it on an HTC Vive setup.
I like the concept but that bridge isn't anywhere close to accurate or real looking.
The museum...
I had a chance to try the last VR version of this amazing simulator on a friends HTC Vive.
It was incredible. I could feel a smile the entire time. The pc version seems improved
a bit visually, but it's apples and oranges to compare it to the VR experience.
I don't own a VIVE but if this had...
have you tried installing iDos? That "should" work and make them playable.
I got all the star trek games running on my android phone and tablet; 25th anniversary, judgement rites, a final unity etc...
no the lights stay put..the caps themselves rotate like the original model did....at least thats what a lot of us would like to see...there are kits for the 1/350th scale models that have just leds that make it look as if they are rotating...doesn't look great.
Search4, do you know if the led lit nacelle caps will have motorized rotation?
the impression I got from a recent article made it seem like they will not spin.
I remember sitting at the dinner table around 1980 and my older brother telling me:
"They're making a Star Trek II."
My first thought: "What about Star Trek I"
I had no idea it existed.
Saw TWOK in the theater on opening day. I was 10 or so and remember telling my dad on the way home..."I...
Re: It was the Engine Imbalance that created the wormhole in the first
It was the engine imbalance....but what CAUSED the imbalance?

"I can't do much better." he says
I never understood this on viewing the movie the last couple of years.
It's as if...
Maybe Jack Lord, but not likely.
There was an energy he brought to the role that nobody else could fill.
If Shatner had died in a car accident, the series probably would have been cancelled.
It already cost so much to produce...losing him would have been the last straw.
Indeed!
Seems like he set the tone of helping sci-fi subjects being taken more seriously as used in future properties like star wars etc...
I'm 1/3 into reading "these are the voyages season 1" and I love that memo to Alexander Courage about " REAL orchestra music and none of that god damned...
^^I've read a few times that Maren's acting wasn't up to snuff and one of the higher ups wanted her gone to save a buck.
Back on Topic, Just picked up season 1 on sale on amazon (kindle edition is now $ 9.95)
Fun Reading. I play the episodes I'm reading about as I read them.
Didn't see a...
Anyone else have the audio during actions scenes suddenly get much quieter then go back to
regular volume after the action scenes? Sounds like maybe a live dynamic range compressor was used...sounded awful.
Wondering if it was just my local station doing that or if it was in the broadcast master.
Doing my yearly google search for any news on a novel and this came up from a year and a half ago.
Mostly Scotty scenes and shows the cg renderings of Sulu & Uhura which have never been seen.
