    How large is the archive?

Here it is as a cbz, I downloaded the image files Issuu was presenting https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZBEzNVZIpkT5Y2cnJ0innO3wXrfpR3ehRwX (A cbz is just a bunch of images zipped up for a reader to show, if you rename it to .zip you'll get the original jpegs)

It's marked as Epsilon IX: I'm guessing it was downscaled for budget reasons.

    Same.

So is there still no sign of any set plans coming off Beyond? (I'm terrible at figuring out scaling and want to do something with franklin's layout.)

They also did that thing where the corridors had colored markers signifying the station area, which subtly helped make them seem like different sets: it's an idea Okuda suggested during TNG's development as well but one they never ended up using. (A few sheets doug drexler posted on his...

I defer to your greater knowledge, good to know.

Nowadays they'd just build the entrance hatch for the actors to interact with and CG in the rest, probably, with the interior on a separate set.

Probert initially wanted something like this: Then went to a boxier straight line shuttle to be easier (a version of which made it into one of the early series matte paintings): Then that was simplified to mostly the shuttle we know with simpler side doors: The windows were then...

They never could build a full size mock-up properly, it was too difficult. That's why it went away and was replaced with the type 15 and eventually type 6. (And this was the simplified version! The original design was even curvier)

Pretty sure that was just a computer wallpaper.

Actually, speaking of which, @Redgeneral, do you want all the extracted panorama images like those Voyager tour ones from TNG tech manual and Captain's Chair for the archive, or are you avoiding those because they were commercial products? I was able to pull them out with a batch conversion...

One of these days I really need to get around to adding the extra Voyager panoramas to the trek Panorama viewer site I did. It's been on my to-do list for ages. Have to tweak it to switch to different vertical ranges for the Voyager tour ones.

Oh, interesting! I was trying at the time to get a decent floor plan for the Klingon Bird of Prey stuff in this thingy I put together. I think they must've explicitly lengthened the set for Generations for the double-command-chair setup and then re-shrunk it later, though.

Trying (and failing) to Understand How Starbase Yorktown Fits Together

Ran across these today from the computer graphics people's portfolios: not sure if they might help any.

They rebuilt and simplified it for DS9, shrank it and took out several elements, as far as I can tell.

I tried looking around but didn't have much luck - is there any information about the Bird of Prey bridge as it existed around the time of Star Trek 6 or Generations, before it got modified for the Rotarran?

Has anyone ever come across blueprints for the Franklin sets on Trek Beyond? Doing a thing and I'd love to have some reference materials to work from, but I can't find any around.

    La Sirena

'Speed Freighter' to me would imply that the ship is basically a fast cargo courier - that it's designed for getting time-limited freight somewhere fast, rather than hauling large amounts of cargo efficiently. With that kind of role, it's quite believable that the ship's cargo space might...

    Got any Bridge "Porn"?

I do rather agree with you - I really liked ops and tactical in Voyager - but I very much dislike the freefloating consoles all over the Sovereign. In my mind, in Star Trek at least, the captain should be able to swivel and look directly at every station on the bridge., without others getting in...
