I thought Season 3 of Enterprise was fantastic, much better than the rest of the show and rivaling some of the other series. It's basically an entire season "arc" about how an alien race attacks the earth (basically a terrorist attack reminiscent of 911) and the Enterprise's mission is to stop...
I'm trying to access the forum for the Excelsior audio show website but can't seem to get a posting on there. Does anyone else listen to that show and use their forum?
As someone old enough to remember it coming out, I'd also list the White Album, not because it was one of the 10 greatest albums but because of the excitement when it came out.
Two of my sentimental favorites are The Invaders (from the 60s), although it's quite dated now but if a serious re-make was made it could be quite good. Also, I liked the short lived War of the Worlds (from the 1990s?); I liked the edge to it.
I agree. Nemesis was a very good movie. And since we'll never have another TNG movie (at least with the original cast) we can only wish there were more like it.
I also think he made the character. All of the captains of the various series were so different but we were fortunate that they were all great choices.
When there's a great series on TV I want to watch I usually "tape" the season anyway so I can watch the episodes not in one weekend but whenever I want (usually one episode a night if I have time). The House of Cards download works for me if it works for Netflix!
Thanks to Netflix streaming we now have something that was never previously available--immediate access to any episode of any of the Star Trek series at any time in any order. What a great treat for Star Trek fans!
We absolutely don't need a re-make of the same movie. How would that advance the Star Trek saga? We want new stories, at least the last two movies were original even if they were based in part on (but altered elements of past stories).
Love the fact that these fan films are being made, although the acting etc. in some of them leaves something to be desired. It's great to know that people love Star Trek enough to make them.
There was so much canon in the 3 series from the 1990s. That could never happen with movies. TV shows are for the fans. With a superb set of characters like The Next generation and great writing a Star Trek TV show could make it with mass audiences.
