As promised, here's my review for the latest episode. I've copied it over from my other social media channels!
Discovery hits its fourth episode (or fifth, if you’re counting the premiere as two separate episodes, which… you shouldn’t no matter what CBS claims to the contrary) with “Choose...
I was gonna save this for when I get to my full review tomorrow, but as soon as Saru asked the computer to pull up a list of Starfleet's most distinguished captains, I said to my roommates (and this was the only time I interrupted the episode) "incoming Archer reference."
Good episode. I'll have thoughts tomorrow; I'll port them here from my little social media group once I've written them.

Guy, I've been here for seven years, a full Voyager traipse across the Delta Quadrant, and you still keep me on my toes like a fresh-faced ensign. I am the Harry Kim to your writer refusal to promote me.
I'm sympathetic to Voq. The tone of his skin has given him a lifetime of unjustified hardship, and I'd like to see him overcome that.
I'd prefer it didn't happen thanks to murderous terrorist actions, of course.
His relationship with Michael has been given an interesting setup: they tried to...
