I ordered 6 things from Amazon, and was expecting all but 2 of them to arrive early next week.
FIVE of the items came in today! With the last one expected ETA updated even earlier than I thought it would be.

Yesterday I messaged someone I hadn't seen since high school on Facebook. He responded and we spent a good couple of hours on the phone catching up on the last 50-plus years.
Just a few minutes ago, I saw five raccoons on a tree in front of my apartment building. A couple of girls in the building said they were afraid the critters might jump on them. I guess they were confusing raccoons with drop bears.

Got my HOA payment in the mail WAY early this year. That's one thing off my list of things to worry about.
I've been doing really well in English class
One more day before the holiday break. That's two weeks without pay but family said they would throw us few bucks for Christmas.
Teacher was sick yesterday, so I am on vacation since yesterday 
One of the local grocery store chains had fried chicken in their deli on sale. Regular price for the 8 piece (4 drum sticks and 4 thighs) is $10.99, but Friday only it's $4.99. I got two 8 piece orders. So I'm having fried chicken for supper for the rest of the week, through next Friday.
I guess this is a good thing that happened to me but it might've come at the expense of other people.
Went to Whole Foods to return an Amazon purchase. Line was long but there were two automated return machines to the side that no one was using. So I walked past everyone and did my return. Unless they were all there for multiple returns and/or needing to talk to the employee about their return, I'm thinking some of them just saw the long line and assumed it was the only line? Even after I did my return and left, walking past the line on the way out, no one in the line moved.
