Things that frustrate us all

My mom who is late with the Christmas planning, I still have no idea what time I have to be at the cinema or how I wil get to my grandparents home

the sister who has made us celebrate Christmas a day (or two) late every year for the past 20 + years because she'd rather have Christmas with her EX in-laws first. That's right--her ex-husband's family. So we have to pick up her from the airport and cater to her schedule and my Mom, my husband and I, and my other sister have to change our plans to wait for her. And every year, my Mom tears up because she can't have Christmas ON Christmas day.

My entire Christmas is going to be driving 3.5 hrs to Mom's, then, on Christmas day, going to pick up sister's car from trucking place. Then , a few hours later, we pick up sister and one of her daughters from the airport --two people with luggage and two cats in carriers(because sister is moving in with 92 year old Mom). Then I have to make dinner. Hubby also wants to visit his nephew for a few hours . Then we drive home the next day.

Oh, and Mom's house is pretty torn up after a flood from a broken pipe.

*sigh*

I'd rather just stay home with my cat.

This feels pretty minor in comparison to what everyone else is posting, but, people who park too close, or just over, the white line in the parking stalls at my apartment.

It means I have to hug the white line on my driver's side and park closer to the building and have to squeeze in and out of my car because I barely have enough room to open the door.

Would it be asking too much to back up and re-center your car in its parking spot.

I've posted this before, but I really hate it when I'm on a dark winding road and already speeding with no one behind me, when suddenly someone is tailgating me because they're going even faster than I am.

Happened again today. It was daytime so not a dark road, but it is winding and there have been a lot of accidents due to speeding. Speed limit is 25, I'm going 30 as is the car in front of me. No one is behind me. Then suddenly there's someone right on my bumper.

I finally found the earbuds that were missing for 2 weeks....in the drawer, under a box, 3 inches from where I left it.

Why is my grandfather such a arrogant, narrow minded, outdated prick? I feel like I'm a teenager again, I have to turn off my phone at the evening and because it's was new year my best friend who is catsitting couldn't get a hold off me and called my mom about my cat.

And because I wasn't available he was pretty angry this morning, I tried explaining to my grandfather that it was necessary that I was available. But he said that I didn't need to be always available and that I was addicted to my phone, that a phone addiction was worse than drugs and alcohol and that I just get rid of my cat because she acting up.

I said that alcohol and drugs killed more people than a phone addiction, he said that phones make you crazy and that's worse. I also said that by his logic a lot of animals should get rid of, he just shrugged and said animals are just a huge burden. But the cat sitter agree to visit in the evening as well just to be on the safe side, which I'm happy for

The fireworks started around here slightly before 7 PM. I was in the shower and had no idea what I was hearing. I even thought something might have been wrong with the pipes...
