I was wondering about that.

Map as shown on screen seems a little close-in to the Alpha-Beta line compared to the Y-axis number, right?

Watched the David Cullen show review (he's seen all episodes so offers some hints on where things go and such) and, well, I obviously missed something watching this. (I was in a hotel room, spent 30 or 40 minutes getting my phone to play on the TV and the lightning and coloring of the shows us horrible.)

So when my headache drops I'll take some mood-relaxing medication and try it again.

Wasn’t the La Sirena taken by Juratiborg in S2? I don’t watch to have to rewatch to figure that out. I was really surprised to see Raffi on board.

Did you actually watch the episode.
Of course I did no need to be rude.

After being explicitly warned not to goto Starfleet Picard raises no objections to Will’s suggestion of going to a Starfleet ship. Why?

Given he knows Raffi and used the La Sirena in s1 and 2 you’d think he’d have called her up and asked to use the ship.

The US Army was officially founded before the US existed, so there is precedent.
That is a good example. As for Star Trek, I think the only other logical time for all those races to join militarily would have been the founding of the Coalition Of Planets (2155) which would place Picard S3 in 2405.

But someone confirmed 2411 for the year, which lines up with the founding of the Federation in 2161. It's a substantial jump in time and why Danna and Kestra would be happy to be free of Will when that would put Kestra in her 20's(?).

IDK. Hoping they make it clearer at some point. We're still yet to see the "parade" of ships from the trailers.

Technically Starfleet itself predates the Federation by almost 30 years so even IT isn't technically 250 years old unless this season were set just three years or so after NEM. I get a big kick out of the Frontier Day concept and getting to see old museum ships from throughout the width and breadth of Starfleet history but the definiton of 250th Anniversary of Starfleet may be pretty loose and up to interpretation.
