Before Sunset? Really? I think Sunrise is one of the best films of the last 25 years, but found the sequel to be just okay. Midnight is much better.

Awhile back, I got rather emphatically recommended to watch the second nuTrek movie. I had an Video On Demand credit from my cable company and the movie was available, so I watched it as many times as I could tolerate it, within 48 hours (since I knew I'd miss stuff the first time around). But I know I will never see it again.
As for movies I have watched often, sometimes more than once in a single day... that would be Contact. I saw it several times in the theatre, and watch it often on TV.
There have been a few books I've promptly re-read immediately after finishing them, and have read many times since. But I can't think of any movie or TV episode (not show, because I do watch General Hospital 5 days a week) I'd watch every single day.

As a kid I could watch and rewatch the same movies weekend after weekend. But I couldn't do it now, even with fare that I could back then. I can still get enjoyment outta these movies, but I have to space the amount of time between viewings of them right out in between.
I'd like to say any of the Star Trek/Wars films--but I have to go retro.

THE MALTESE FALCON.
The dialog is very fast, it keeps you moving.
I had to watch Falcon two or three times to really "get it."
They have high energy.

Somehow I quite like this one, I do not know why, even though Before Sunrise and Before Midnight are much stronger. Maybe I can connect easier with that one middle child?
Monty Python is a case where I DID watch it pretty much every week when I was 13 so now I know it way too well to watch it that often.
I think Before Sunset is slightly the strongest of the trilogy though I love all three. (And I was surprised to not be the only one to list them.) Before Sunset built on everything that was established in the first one.

But I have to point out one which I watched yesterday. It's called "Gross Misconduct-The Brian Spencer story" about a Canadian hockey player. As a hockey fan I find it very exciting and also a bit tragic.
I taped it on a VHS tape back in 1994. Unfortunately it seems unavailable on DVD so I have to stick with the tape.
"Alien 1" is the most creepy movie I've ever seen. Also a favorite.
"Star Trek- The Wrath Of Khan" and "Goldfinger are also movies that I've watched many times. The same with "Death Wish #2", "Taken #1" and "Broken Arrow".
