PICTURE POST II!

Thank you. :) It's such a beautiful place that it would be difficult to take a bad photo of it. The funny thing is that any music would be drowned out by all the shenanigans on the other side of the bridge. If you look under the right-hand arch you can see a child playing in the water (the river's very shallow here), and he was just one of many. On the Inn side of the bridge there were adults, children and dogs all playing in the river. It's a lot of fun to watch, but I didn't include the photos I took there because I won't post photos of other people's children.

On a more mundane level, however, either Hagrid, Hodor or Worf installed the mirrors in the ladies' room at the Fingle Bridge Inn. Okay, I'm only 156cm tall, but come on. ;)

 ^ I love that shot!

The bathrooms, I guess, are not "munchkin friendly."

Baby face.

I'm guessing the couple that just got married in the church across from me are school teachers.... the saber arch was made out of blackboard-rulers! :) (indoors because the chauffeur hasn't learnt not to park on the church steps.)

That's really cute, but what I'm really looking at is that car. Wow!

As seen from my window it looks like every single vintage car owner in town moonlights as driver for newlyweds... must be expensive to keep something like that roadworthy :rommie:

After every ceremony they vacuum... rice isn't good for birds, you know...

That was my thought too!

I shared some of these below, but it's been awhile since I visited the Misc Pic thread. I recently returned from a very relaxing trip visiting my family.

Two and a half years ago my mom moved from Seattle (where I grew up) to this serene little lakeside community:

While I was there we mostly just chilled. We went blueberry picking and my mom made cobbler. Me blueberry picking:

My sis and me taking the ferry from Seattle to Vashon to visit our older sister:

She bleached my hair (and I've dyed it bright orange since):

Results before the orange dye -- my hair is too stubborn to really bleach, but I liked the orangish color so I got some Ion in Electric Tangerine" to enhance it:

Me and sis at the ice cream shop:

Me and my mom:

Cute! You always have one of the best smiles of anybody I know, and your mom looks like she's having a great time with you. Also: blueberries?

[Charlie Sheen] Winning! [/Charlie Sheen]

I went over to my parent's house tonight for a get-together with my family for my birthday (I turn 32 on Tuesday!).

My sister-in-law works at a bakery and takes advantage of any opportunity to bake something for a family function. Well, she knows that Back to the Future is my all-time favorite movie and this is what she came up with for my cake:

She went above and beyond! I love her to death for this cake (and it was deelish too!). She also put words on the other three sides "Save the clocktower" "Great Scott!" and "1.21 jigowatts". I was pretty impressed with the attention to detail since she isn't a BTTF fan, but she said she came up with everything herself.
