NOVELS AS GRAPHIC NOVELS??

Would anyone like to see any novels being adapted into graphic format?

The Ashes of Eden got this treatment many years ago and it truly felt like an adaptation of a lost movie, it would be cool to see THE RETURN get the same treatment. (Followed maybe by other Shatnerbooks? I love Spectre)

When hints came in 2011 we thought that maybe the much praised DESTINY was getting the IDW treatment but alas we got the rather disappointing Hive.

Are there any you would like to see? Or more tie-ins, a TITAN GN would be cool.

I'm a big comic book fan, so seeing some of my favourite Trek novels in graphic novel form would be welcome. Some that I would like to see include:
-DRG3's lost era stories featuring the Enterprise B
-VOY: Full Circle
-Destiny
-more New Frontier
-The Buried Age

There are so many more that would make great graphic novels. What does everyone else think?

I guess the only problem with graphic-novelizing novels is that you already know the ending of one when you read the other. As cool as "The Ashes of Eden" was, original graphic novels based on the novels ("New Frontier: Double Time") are more fun.

^How is that different from any other kind of adaptation? You could say the same about The Hunger Games movies, Game of Thrones, the Twilight movies, but it didn't have any impact on them. It can be fun to see something that you enjoy done in a new medium, especially if it's from a non-visual medium to a visual one.
As for stories I would love to see the Titan and Vanguard novels adapted. Destiny would be awesome too.

Exactly. I knew how ROTK was gonna end. Still cried like a little baby.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the issue here either.

I must admit, the first Cold Equations would be good for an adaption.

I'd gladly read a graphic novel adaptation of Federation.

Do you realize this year is the 20th-anniversary of Federation? Damn, where do the years go?

That would be my first choice.

Spock's World would be my second. It would certainly give the artists a variety of themes to work with.

How about "Dark Mirror"? Or "Kobayashi Maru" (TOS), "Mosaic" & "Pathways" could probably turned into a couple of graphic novels, with one novel per character story.

Hmm... if we're talking older novels, then I'm thinking My Enemy, My Ally would make a rather nice graphic novel.

I also think it would be rather cool to see The Final Reflection with art by J.K. Woodward.

What about How Much For Just the Planet? If we can't have an operetta, a graphic novel would be at least something visual. This novel deserves to be seen, as well as read.
