2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil

^^
Definitely. But it's very tense. And Chile is tough, if they can get through Brazil they might go all the way after all.

They aren't, but it would be awful for Brazil of all hosts to end their run this early.

Jesus Christ Fuck!

Man that was an intense game and Brazil was really weak throughout the game at times.

I literally bolted out of my seat at the end of overtime when Chile shot at the goal and only hit the goal post instead of the net.. mere centimeters below and Panilla would have given Brasil a national trauma for the next decades.

Penaly shooting is always intense and nerve wrecking but this one was especially so.

Well.. congratulations to Brazil and wait until the semifinals when Germany will kick you ass!:devil:

I believe biceps are, but I could be wrong. It's a close case. The angle I saw seemed like it was a legal goal, but there was another angle when I looked away that the announcers said showed a handball (I feel bad looking away, though, since I can't actually say for sure).

Everything up to the shoulder is considered hand for rules purposes and he was definitely leading/controlling the ball with his biceps so the call was good, even great because it was not easy to see.

A difference is when a player gets shot at and the ball hits the arm unintentionally and he has no time to turn away the arm, that's a ref call but in these cases its not considered a foul.

Brazil is so lucky to win on that last penalty kick. They came really close to exiting the World Cup in their first round of 16 match.

A couple of pretty good games. Brazil were rather fortunate (although from the footage I saw I thought Hulk's "goal" looked legit) and Chile needed only the smallest bit of luck and they'd have progressed. It's nice that Brazil get to stay at their own party but they'll need to improve a great deal.

The second match produced another contender for goal of the tournament and IMO that one ought to be the winner. Amazing stuff from Rodriguez, particularly the glance he shot over his shoulder to see where the defenders were before the class of the finish. He could do anything against the Brazilian "defence" but Colombia will need to improve from there, too. Looking forward to that game already.

Holland 2-0 Mexico

Costa Rica 1-0 Greece

And can I just say what a goal last night from Rodriguez, beats Cahill's as goal of the World Cup so far. Columbia for me will beat Brazil and make the semi finals and Rodriguez price (rumors that he's unhappy at Monaco) has jumped high.
