PACIFIC 201 - A Star Trek Film

The Romulan War will not be discussed at great length in the film, but the characters are greatly affected by the political/social climate that came out of the war. So the film concerns itself less with the details of the war, and more with how it affected the way people think.
Like in "Balance of Terror", very few specifics of the conflict will be revealed.

Here's a short little video I put together to see the Pacific 3D model in motion. Still no textures or fancy rendering, but it's a start!

We also see a vast dust cloud in this clip. This particular interstellar phenomenon plays an extremely important role in the story.

Well, I thought since this is six decades before TOS, I wanted the TOS tricorders to feel lavish by comparison.

But all that aside, this is just a prototype prop, so I'm definitely still open to suggestions!

That's a rock and a hard place aesthetic choice, isn't it? Have to make it look futuristic, yet not as advanced as tech on a 60's show...

Could you tell me the city you live in? If it's LA, I need more exact information, because there are so many fan films in LA, I try to get the marker into the right part of LA, and likewise Las Vegas.
