New live action "Turtles"?

That was too similar to the last trailer to do much for me. I dunno, I want to be excited for this, I've been a life long fan of the Turtles. But nothing I'm seeing is really wowing me.

Out of everything so far, I think Shredder's done mostly right. I can't really complain.

I'm not going to bother seeing the movie, mind you, but he's not too bad.

It is a little over the top IMO, but that is pretty much what I was expecting at this point. It could have been worse, at least they kept the Samurai motif.

Even though Shredder's outfit was always a bit out there, it made sense in a way. I mean he was still pretty maneuverable in it. He managed OK in the first film (or at least the stunt man did), but this new suit just doesn't seem practical.

I've read one explanation that because the Turtles are bigger Shredder has to be bigger too, but I just can't imagine how someone will pull off Ninjitsu in taht get up.

I went back to work in the Wal-Mart toys department after almost a week off, and found a new display with the movie toys.

There was also a third size with the role-play toys that I forgot to take a picture of.

Shredder's armor is pure Bay influenced excess. It's just too much.
I don't like how the Turtles seem to have tourist type items on them. A "NYC" pin, sunglasses other random things it seemed.

That's not to say I won't see it. It's a brand I like, the current IDW comic is awesome, but I'm not fully sold on this take as yet.

Hmm, I'll see what the reviews are like for this one. That trailer makes it look awful. And as I can't stand the Transformers movies I can't say the Michael Bay namecheck helps.

That entire trailer looks like bay-influenced excess. Ugh, this movie is going to be kind of painful. And the Turtles' voices came across as.... "Obviously dubbed?"

I mean they *obviously* are, but it's like the voices weren't played with enough to sound like part of the scene and more like "on top of it" as if they're doing a DVD commentary or something.

I'm not able to watch the video yet, but I'm curious: is Johnny Knoxville's voice in this trailer? And if so, how does he sound as Leonardo?
