So buried in a story about a singer I've never heard of (and I'm betting you haven't either) blagging her way onto the show is a comment from Moffat about the episode where he says, ""We are completely thrilled that the amazingly talented Foxes is joining us on board... well, you'll see. Let's just say, the Doctor is finally catching up on his phone calls."

Which makes me think that "..." should be replaced with "the Orient Express - In Space".

Well if she invades America then I might know who she is. In my defense I don't follow a lot of music . I tend to stick to who I like and stay there.

Though if her music was in a movie I have watched then I might recognize her. There are alot of songs I hear on the radio that I like but I would have no clue who sang it.

Not really, how much airplay does she get, what stations etc.. She might get more play on say R1, but that's not much good if say you listen to R2.

I'm confused. No one here has said anything of the sort. Are you perhaps refering to comments you read on a different forum?

Well I seem to recall some dissention when Catherine Tate was cast, due to her comedy show no doubt.

Kylie though did have acting experiance before she became a pop star. But of course just because someone might have little or no acting experiance doesn't mean they won't be able to act.

I think that's what most of us are doing as we've never heard of Foxes. How can we have a preconceived notion about someone we've never ever heard of?

I don't see anyone, here at least, complaining about her being cast; just expressing amusement that she's getting the same treatment as people that we're actually heard of before.
