Any Trek actors on this board?

Focus, Focus....have to interpret, have to break the pattern recognition code he is using to choose those damned avatars!! I'll solve it!!!!

Most easily achieved, when you channel your Inner "Two Takes" Frakes™ ...

But consider how Chase Masterson was driven off this forum. If even a beautiful starlet with giant fun bags and a firm body can't win these fans over ... of what use is popularity on the internet? None that I can make out ... so, I change my avatars and post when I feel like it and try to keep myself as "just this guy" ... you know?

While I am not a Trek actor, I work with Jeff Allin, who had a few minor speaking roles in TNG and was also in the Star Trek: Borg video game, at the audiobook recording studio where we work.

If Shatner ever showed up on here, all the questions would be about his hair.

ETA: I am not George Vincent "Skip" Homeier.

If a Trek actor showed up here, half the board wouldn't believe it was really them. I mean, how could they possibly prove who they were? Even if they uploaded a YT video of them loudly proclaiming they were about to log into TrekBBS and then proceeded to do so on camera, there'd still be those who didn't believe them. We've had that problem before, actually, and not just with Chase Masterson.

If I were an actor then I would go anonymously go to various on-line boards / discussion groups and plug my stuff. Self-promotion can be very helpful. If people didn't like my work, then I just would try to not read it.

Didn't Marina Sirtis go to TNG conventions in the early days of TNG because she knew that TPTB were thinking of getting rid of Deanna Troi? She really saved her job by communicating with the fans!

I'm skeptical, this kind of undercover promotion is rarely subtle on a forum. If the user don't use a too promotional tone, he will be betrayed by his redundant interventions and be fastly tagged as a fan-club president or a manager. I saw that on some occasions with music board.
