The persistance of the rumor thathas me worried that it's actually true. I think that would be a bit of character assassination, personally...one of the characters will be Obi-Wan's illegitimate daughter
Or it's just the usual fan-created rumor mill bullshit.
I think Obiwan and Yoda did love each other, but, it was a "pure" love, that transcended kissing...Oh...wait, that's not what he meant, is itI just rewatched the first appearance of Satine, and my interpretation is that they never actually did anything. Of course this could be my bias because I always think of Yoda and Obi-Wan as the perfect incorruptible Jedi who never have a slip the way most of them do. I was under the impression that they loved each other but Obi put duty first and they never even kissed.

I don't really remember a Satine/Obi romance in The Clone Wars (Yes, a close relationship, but a romance, I missed that?). Is this played up in the novels, or did I miss something? I did rifle through the 5 Seasons pretty quick, and may be forgetting something![]()
I always thought the whole prequel idea that Jedi aren't allowed to have partners is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind if they retconned that one.
The "no romance/love" thing was pretty stupid. The Jedi were basically weeding themselves out of the gene pool.
Should be. Same with the Midichlorian crap.I always thought the whole prequel idea that Jedi aren't allowed to have partners is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind if they retconned that one.
Can it be retconned, though? After all, it was one of the contributing factors of what drove Anakin to the Dark Side.
