Still playing with Poser's toon renderer, trying to come up with something more like line art, but in the meantime, it worked out pretty well to create a mock comic page .

I made this for my wife's birthday this year. She recognized it immediately, as should any Disney parks fan - it's Main Street Station at the Magic Kingdom. She just recently got her black belt, so I used one of the boards she broke to do this. The colors are quite a bit more saturated than I would have liked, but it still came out pretty good.
Here it is in work:
Here's a closeup of the final, where my wife put it up on the mantle:
Netrek! I used to play this back in college (early '90s). Originally, the ships in the basic server (Bronco) were monochrome, but not too long after came the shaded 20x20 bitmaps you see here. Sometime over the years, the game was updated to allow 80x80 bitmaps, although the ones that come with it don't resemble Star Trek very closely. So I took the shaded versions of the original ship designs for Netrek and created these 80x80 pixel art versions. Yes, Romulans usually have green or gray ships, but I wanted to keep the color scheme. I didn't do the Orions because those ships weren't based on anything on the show, and it seems that the still surviving servers don't use those much anyway.
