I'm the kid to the right of the kid in the red track-suit...
It was done as a birthday gift for my grandfather...
    I must've been around 5 years old i think...

Do I see a lot of early 80s hair? I have my own collection of family reunion pics with people sporting remarkably similar hairstyles and fashion sense.

By international law, all mentions of 1980's hair are required to have the descriptor "a lot" included somewhere in the body of the sentence.

    And references to "awesome". Totally.

although the hair in that pic looks to be more 70's-ish than 80's. To be 80's hair, there needs to be much more feathering. ;)

Honestly I don't know Albany that well at all, so I'm not sure if it was Times Union Center. The restaurant was on Beaver Street, below Pearl. It is close to the river, could see it from the penthouse.

After two days of warm weather and rain, finally can see our lawn. A week or so more of this and maybe it will be all gone.

Nice! And speaking of spring ... it was snowing here in Queens this morning!

And yesterday it was foggy, drizzly and rainy while I was in Manhattan. I did my best to capture the mood:

I got a set of 'clip-on' lenses for phonecams today... here's my first fish-eye-selfie (just a draft though):

^ Looks great. It's amazing what sort of things you can do with these kind of cameras.

My cat killed a rat yesterday - and it was a big one, which you can't really see on the picture. My cat hasn't killed a rat for a long time now, so this is a little bit of a surprise.. The cat is already 14 years old (about 72 in human years) and he is suffering from athrosis. So, on the one hand kudos! On the other hand... poor rat. I really feel sorry for it.

Indeed; well done! (to the cat) - plus do feel lucky! -a friend had a major clean-up to do because she found that her cat kept bringing home living mice and didn't kill them... apparently the mice had set up camp in her set of drawers :( :(

One of our old cats would bring her kills into the house and tear the bird of rodent apart in our dining room. I'd only know about the strewn bits of carcass when she launched into her "Look, mom, I've left a bloody skull and internal organs all over the floor!" meow. It was disgusting.

In that case I feel lucky that my cat never brought the prey inside.

Thankfully Posey was the only cat of ours who ever did that. Any poor creature our other cats have killed have mercifully not been brought into the house. Good thing, as one of our other cats was a killing machine. He once came back with a dead squirrel.

A very rare selfie. My new glasses--I'm very pleased with them. Seeing is surprisingly convenient.

@ auntiehill: Your new glasses look really nice. I like especially that they seem to be a bit bigger compared with my own glasses. I've got my new glasses back in 2007. Back then it was fashionable to have small glasses but now I find it rather annoying since you can always see the frame.

@ Saga: I love the second picture!
