Ooh, I hadn't considered that... Dr. Crusher under the command of Captain Ro. Interesting how things have turned out, no?
The publisher's description has been on Memory Beta since yesterday or so. Anyway, it reveals something about the diverse fleet:
Sounds very interesting. Particularly the Athene Donald. By the way, for those not in the know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athene_Donald
Intriguing book synopsis about mysterious aliens visiting ds9.The new spaceship Athena Donalsd sounds interesting too.
She helped cure the Andorian crisis, she must have kudos. This sounds really interesting, and it's interesting that Dr Crusher isn't mentioned at all! I'm all for more Dr Pulaski - I remember disliking her on tv as a kid, but I've liked how various authors have explored her - and I'm really looking forward to see how Una McCormack writes her!
I am hoping Pulaski does not come in and overshadow what I am hoping is going to be a more Chrusher-centric book
Re: The Missing by Una McCormack Maybe here they do, but remember... We're only a small pocket of the fanbase
Re: The Missing by Una McCormack The 3.5 out of 5 star rating is surprisingly consistent across all outlets I can find.
Re: The Missing by Una McCormack 3.5 out of 5 across the board is NOT a bad score if you ask me. But then again, haters gonna hate I guess.
I'd rate Revelations and Dust above Poisoned Chalice, Peaceable Kingdoms and Ceremony of Losses. Nothing beats Crimson Shadow though.
I agree. I am glad David left so many things for other authors to pick up on. DS9 has been neglected too long (I know some of the character have been used in other places, but I'm ready for the DS9 series to return)
I'm disappointed that Pocket couldn't even do something like a 20th anniversary anthology of new stories like Prophecy and Change back in 2003.
