Episode Title: "For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils"
Air Date: March 22nd, 2014

Summary: "When Sweetie Belle becomes angry with Rarity for stealing her spotlight, she deliberately sabotages a costume for one of Rarity’s most elite clients. Later that night, Sweetie Belle is paid a visit by Luna in her dreams."

I know absolutely nothing about this episode, but it looks like Sweetie Belle's about to learn a hard lesson, so I'm interested to see how this will all play out. Enjoy the show!

I love Luna! Also, 5 yr old Sweetie Belle just about damn near killed me. :lol:

Luna is kind of bored, isn't she? Looks like appearing in people's dreams shelling out advice is a hooby for her. ;)

The little fillies were so cute, even though their attitude left something to be desired. I felt for Sweetie Belle.

Good episode.

By the way, is Sapphire Shores a bit of a jerk? I think so. I mean, Rarity's her favorite designer, and she considers her the best, has been shown time and time again how amazing Rarity is at her work, but she's willing to drop her over a simple mistake as one headdress?

I think it's the idea that Sapphire is a bit of a diva. She might be very particular.

This is the first time in a few weeks that I've kept up with the show (still need to go back and watch the prior two episodes at some point.) I guess Luna was enough to lure me out of my apathy. :p

Reasonably solid episode, overall. There's stuff I could quibble with, but it was well-paced and the third act was a sensible extension of the established conflict (which is something I've noticed the show had been struggling with lately.) Plus, LUNA! Always good to see more of our dear celestial princesses, long may they reign.

B+, I guess? I dunno any more.

Another episode referencingt he falng out between the two sisters. Thinking that's goingto be a season pay off: Return of Nightmare Moon.

Is Sapphire Shores meant to be a take on someone in particular? I thought about her name and if it might be a twist on someone real, but I couldn't figure one out. Personally, I got a Beyonce vibe from her.

She's incredibly annoying and so stereotypical enough to just be a complete waste of a character, when we could have had a real one they spent more than 5 seconds making out of a black disney teen show character.

Yeah, it was a down note for the episode. Seems like Rarity took a little more shit for her than she has with some of the others.
