What are you reading?

Masters of the Planet: The Search for Our Human Origins [Kindle Edition]

Ian Tattersall (Author)

The Redneck Manifesto: How Hillibillies, Hicks, and White Trash Became America's Scapegoats, Jim Goad.

A redneck Marxist; what fun!

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

I love Krakauer's Under the Banner of Heaven. I'm not much of a climber and he seems to see it as some sort of spiritual experience, so his other books don't interest me. But I would definitely recommend "Under the Banner of Heaven.

i may have to read it then. the only other book of his i've read is Into The Wild, which i really enjoyed.

The Martian by Andy Weir.

Mars mission goes afoul, 5/6 crew members escape, but one gets left behind. The story of his attempts to survive and the absolute clusterfuck that ensues when NASA discovers that he's still alive.

Very much based in science. No impulse engines to save him.
