FLASH series being developed for The CW

Given that Barry managed to develop a mask for Oliver a couple months ago, that can instantly apply AND REMOVE black makeup around the eyes, WITHOUT any real production machinery or support besides a lair full of fitness equipment and Windows 8 computers, I'm sure he can figure something out. ;)

I wonder what the justification for the "bangles" on this Flash costume will be.

(not that there need be any)

The Barry episodes on Arrow established him as something of a superhero buff, so I bet he just adopts the costume because he thinks it's cool.

I have to admit though, this version found online does look a lot cooler.

Which is just tweaking the color balance a little, something the makers of the show themselves could do with lighting and color correction. As mentioned above, one should never expect a costume to look the same in a candid photo as it will look in a finished film or TV episode. Lighting, exposure, and processing can make a considerable difference in the final result, even without modern digital color correction.

One nice thing about this costume is that it actually looks functional. It looks like he can actually move his body properly while wearing it, without being constricted.

Our new Flash needs to bulk up a little more.
I don't know. He's pretty ripped/defined, he's just not thick. How bulky/Thick, could he become/remain running at those speeds and distances that often?
He doesn't have to look like a weightlifting champion, of course. I just think he looks thin in the latest photos. Maybe he'll look more impressive in the finished episodes. He must. He is playing one of DC's 5 greatest heroes.

He's not a weightlifter, he's a runner. A lean build is an asset.

True, but look at Olympic sprinters. They are not exactly rail thin. On the other hand, long distance runners look more like Gustin. I'm not sure which category he'd fit into as the Flash obviously runs quite fast but he can also go great distances.

Middle-distance runners are also pretty lean, but still more muscular than Grant, I think. Wouldn't hurt if he'd muscled up a bit more, but I don't see this a vital issue, honestly.
