Castle - Season 6 Discussion & Spoilers

I've now tried watching this last episode twice and fell asleep both times. It doesn't help that I don't care about the fashion industry at all.

 

It was a pretty standard corporate politics episode but there was some nice development/misdirection as to what was going on in Kate's mind. That was a particularly nice scene at the end.

Yeah, I was afraid it was going be that she was having second thoughts. We've had quite enough of that, thank you!

 

Although that dress was hideous . . . .

 

My girlfriend thought it was horrible, too. It looked like a Disney Princess knockoff that a five-year-old girl would think was beautiful, not a NY homicide cop. All that was missing was a tiara.

 

I didn't find the dress either particularly good or particularly bad. But I'm not a good judge of such things.

 

All I could think of when I saw that dress is that it's almost inevitable that she'll have to chase somebody in it and destroy it. Too predictable, but funny.

Speaking of 3XK, does anyone else also think that he's the guy they actually caught this year, with a different face as per the whole plastic surgery storyline?

Me either. That's why I asked my girlfriend for a second opinion.

"Hideous" was her word.

 

The wedding stuff from the last episode was nicely done, the dress was a disaster, and the case itself I didn't pay attention to.

Just glad the wedding will be done by the end of the season.

 

Yep, convenient for them to move it up to the season finale

 

We should start a pool - who gets shot at the wedding, Castle or Beckett.

 

And no bet that Kate ends up working a case in the dress at some point in the procedings, it's a given.

 

I think Castle will get shot, Beckett already was shot for a season finale.

 

I thnk they're due to kill another character. Have a guest at the wedding shot. I would say good-bye to Ryan's wife Jenny and let Ryan deal with being a grieving single dad.

 

Pretty heavy for a show that's more 'romantic comedy' than drama. It's not Grey's Anatomy, you're allowed to go into a break WITHOUT killing people occasionally

That, and not sure how much longer this show has, so rather they finish up as they are than try to get another season out of stunt deaths and replacement characters...

 

Hm. Alexis has already been kidnapped. They better NOT dare get her shot .

 

They have that new tech woman, I'm waiting for her to be killed.

 

Way I see it, the only expendable character is Martha. Also, her death - while traumatic for Castle, may also serve to bring him and Beckett together, what with her having lost her mother previously.

Also, Pi= 3.14/3XIV turn the V on its side and you have 3XK.
