Imagine my reaction when a snarky reviewer seized on this line as "proof" that I was, in fact, a basement-dwelling nerd who still lived with my parents!
I was stunned. Who knew people even read the Acknowledgments?![]()
Besides, how do people know what room you were in when you borrowed the computer? For all they know, it could have been in the ball room, or the dining room, or the library...![]()
