Which seasons of television do you consider to be the absolute WORST of last year?
The first of my list is Dexter Season 8. It breaks my heart when a show that had such a great beginning like Dexter ends up with a largely disappointing end. The worthless subplots, the boring Big Bad villain, Deb's unbelievable change of heart about Dexter, how they turned Hannah from an unpredictable, intriguing character to an one-note zombie. I wish Dexter's final season had reached the dramatic heights of Breaking Bad's final season or come close to it.
The second on my list is most of White Collar Season 5 that was aired up to that point because of the damage it's been doing to the Neal-Peter friendship. The forced drama, the regression, the out-of-character moments. Here's hoping there's a Season 6 that completely outshines this season and reminds us the viewers what made the show so good in the first place.
The third and last on my list is most of How I Met Your Mother Season 9 that was aired up to that point. All I'll say is that season defines DRAGGED OUT.
