If they hadn't decided to cast African-Americans for the West family, Danielle Panabaker would've made a good Iris.
Killer Frost eh? Nice - usually one of the more minor ice-themed DC villains, but I'll be interested to see what they do with her. (Though, I am kind of surprised that they're going with her considering Captain Cold.)

Worth keeping in mind that this universe has radically reinterpreted some of the comics' characters, so it may not be save to assume anything about where they might be taking a given character. I mean, who knew Black Canary would turn out to be Dinah Laurel Lance's sister?

Which was actually a very good, occasionally brilliant series for the last 2/3 or so of its run. Unfortunately the first five or six episodes were so weak that most of its audience had left by the time it started to get good, hence the unfortunate public perception that it was a bad show. Very good point. Maybe she could be serving the same basic role as Cold rather than the more ax-crazy attitude Frost normally has?
That's why I think they're going to use elements of Hunter Zolomon - the 25th Century thing is probably a bit too much, but "fallen friend of the Flash" would work really well.
Maybe not Bison, but Slipknot just *has* to show up.
Anybody speculating on what the Flash-like being was that Barry encountered when he was younger?
In the comics, that was Professor Zoom who killed his mom when he was a kid.
