You know it's hilarious that the Doctor is so high brow in his mind and yet when you see his fantasies come to life it's pure pulp.

He's a computer program, it's probably the height of fantasy for him to do pulp. He is based on his programmer, who I would expect to enjoy the pulp side of life. I'm trying to imagine an audience watching "that" who didn't know what Star Trek was.

Most of the people belonging to the local BDSM group here are hard core geeks as well- Trek and Dr. Who references abound.

IMO Seven of Nine would have few visible scars underneath- they have established in the past that you can do pretty much anything you want to with a body and restore it back to normal. Kira became a Cardassion, Troi a Romulan, you can surgically alter a person to be a different species and when it's over there is no sign of the changes. There could be a couple external Borg pieces still visible elsewhere on her body like what we have already seen, but not many since the cat suits would probably reveal goosebumps as tight as they are.

I have nothing in particular to add to this discussion, but I did observe that these two quotes mesh particularly well together.

I know this sounds like an absurd question, but let me explain: when the character 7/9 was created, they choose her to be portrayed by a good-looking actress (=hot), which Jeri Ryan is.

When they gave her the famous catsuit that polarized so many opinions, it was explained in-universe as "been designed by the Doctor with certain properties that would help her maintain her human skin once her Borg exoplating had been removed" (source: wikipedia )

So, considering 1) her horrible appearance as a full Borg drone and 2) if the Doctor wasn't able to remove all of the visible implants, probably he had to leave some in other parts of her body too,

Without the techno suit, does she look like a burn victim? would one see flesh without skin? scars in later seasons? is she a female Freddy Krueger from the neck down? a Cenobite?

or does she look like Jeri Ryan all over ?

I just googled "naked seven of nine, voyager." Thank you for suggesting it. Carry on. Seriously, though, like others have said we saw some of her naked parts in Q2 and that episode where the Doctor was painting her and in Tsunkatse.

I think she's attractive in a unique way because Ryan is an unusual looking person and god knows that is a great thing in Hollywood. But it doesn't translate into sexy for me.
