You have earned an infraction for using mustard on spaghetti.

But the guilt will find you, sooner or later. :borg:

Oh, it finds me every night...

There was a time, long long ago, when people ragging on Star Trek used to piss me off. Heck, in high school there was a trend in my school for a while where people refered to 'nerds' with the name 'Spock', as if the very association with a Star Trek character made 'us' somehow inferior to 'them'. That kind of thing did used to make my blood boil (but hey, it *was* high school, and it doesn't take much to piss off a teenager one way or the other).

Fifteen years later, and I'm just kind of like, "Meh, so some P-O-S 'journalist' who thinks he's really something doesn't like Star Trek? Who cares? He can like what he likes, and I'll like what *I* like".

And I happen to like Star Trek. :adore: :bolian:

>These people wear pyjamas, fly around the galaxy in a giant dinner plate

I must say, that's actually accurate!

What's with all this spaghetti talk? Do you guys really care if people put ketchup on it? They're just noodles, not some specialty that gets ruined by ketchup or whatever?
And what's with all the references to italians? Noodles aren't even italian in origin, they are a very basic recipe that countless people came up with over the last few millennia.

Or to look it another way, geeks, nerds etc... actually created all this technology we take for granted these days.

As with many things it's not so black and white, sure kids can be awful at teasing anyone who is different from them. But as we get older and wiser we learn or rather should learn to repsect people for who they are.

I dislike soaps on TV, however my view is don't dimiss my choice of viewing and I won't dismiss yours. After all most TV is made-up (aka Fantasy)
