Older people - How do you define 'young'

LOL good point, I have to admit. I'm starting to ramble myself a little, lately.

As for the music: John Lennon phrased it perfectly: "what music you like or dislike depends on whom you kissed in the cinema at 17"
Somehow the music of our young days stays with us all our lives. I'm a child of the Hippie era and still melt away when I hear a Hammond organ :D

My grandma was 81 when she passed away in 1995. The first president she could remember was Woodrow Wilson.

This reminds me of something else that makes me feel older: none of my grandparents was born in the 20th century. They were born between 1892 and 1899. My longest-living grandparent was my maternal grandmother, who lived from 1899 to 1990, passing away just before her 91st birthday. When I think of all she witnessed in her lifetime, from two world wars to the technological innovations and medical advances, my mind boggles.

Thank you, guys, for your condolences.

But I might think someone is old if they were old enough to remember where they were when JFK was assassinated.

Young enough to remember,....I was in 5th grade class and it was a rainy day. We knew something was wrong because all the teachers were crying in the hall.
