In a little under five hours the Doctor will face his greatest challenge and will be broadcast across the world when the fiftieth anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor will be shown.

This BBC America pre-show special is just a God awful waist of time

The pre-show is just filler because BBCA doesn't have anything else to run in that short time slot.

Um. I. Wow. Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic!

I'll have more coherent thoughts later after I watch it again. Or thrice. Or....

EDIT: And then the 15-second teaser for the Christmas special at the end! I...I...well!

Moffat has really out-done himself this time. Dare I say it is the best episode of Doctor Who ever?

I found it passable at best - some nice setpieces but large stretches where I was frankly bored.

So, Tom was telling the truth after all.

Really enjoyed the whole special, but that scene at the end... I loved it!
