Perhaps. According to these images from TWOK, it's angled at the top and bottom, but I guess the top seems a little more pronounced.

    Johnny Rico,

I was going to ask what color your ship was, as mine is a more bluish hue to it. I took a pix to show you why I was asking, and lo and behold, it came out white!

Here's a question that I've been wondering: do the collection subscription issues get sent out to everyone in the US at the same time (e.g., beginning or middle of the month)?

I had received a confirmation email that my order is being processed on November 13th. I'm just wondering if I missed the November boat and will have to wait until sometime in December for the first issue to arrive.

The lacking detail on the TMP Enterprise aside, I'm very excited about this series.

Yanks, I can confirm that my payment/receiving schedule has been the same/similar to yours (within one day).

I have not yet been billed for shipment 3, but I would expect to be billed in the next week or two given the previous billings.

I'm located in the midwest, if that makes any difference.

    That's what I'm expecting.

I also got a note that the DS9 Space Station is being pushed. The email said expect to be billed "around" 23 December 2013.

It's a light grey. But as you discovered, when you shoot it using a Flash, the flash washes out pretty much all the grey and it looks white. To get these models to look at all real color, you have to lock out your flash and use natural light. Even the Ent-D looks white when you use a flash.

Modified my model a bit with a little black highlight on that torpedo launcher. Courtesy of a Black Sharpie pen. Still not totally accurate, but the thing is so small, that you'd need a tiny brush with actual paint to get in there and do it right. But looking at the model from a distance (normal eye distance ~18 inches) it looks pretty good this way. Thinking about blacking out the outside of the nacelles too. I'll lose the translucence, but I think the model would look better if those blue parts were black like they're supposed to be.

I blacked out the outer nacelles too with the Sharpie. Actually works and looks good. And the good thing? Because the black ink is not opaque paint, it still lets enough ligh thru that the inner side still glows a little bit.

*Jumping around like a kid who has to pee on x-mas morning* When do we get some ships we don't have yet?! When is the first of them?! I want them now!! NOW!!!!

    lol

I've glanced briefly at the ones I've got thus far - 1 through 4 - but otherwise, I have so many other versions of them, these are just going to sit in their boxes. I'm waiting for the ships I don't have 6 of! :D

It appears the inner portion of the naceles should be blue?

^ If memory serves, that was only done for a couple of shots in TMP, some of which were in TWOK, but that was about it.

Hey all, just checking on the quality of my NX-01. Are the nacelles supposed to dip downwards? This is only noticeable to me if I hold the ship on the side view. Both nacelles noticeably dip downwards and are not parallel to the edge of the saucer section. I think it's by a couple degrees.

I did try to snap a photo, but I can't get the saucer to lay flat because of the dome at the bottom and the stand holds the ship at an angle which obscures what I'm talking about. Both nacelles dip the same degree, so it looks like it was done on purpose, but it could be just a major defect on my model. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a major default with your model. Nacelles are quite straight and parallel.
